Angels get married

This is the wedding of Cesar and Jenee Angel. Cesar and Jenee opted for a first look to streamline their wedding day experience. I really like “first looks” because it offers a very private, emotional and beautiful moment for the bride and groom. Just before Cesar and Jenee’s first look I gave some clear instructions to both the bride and groom and how the first look is going to take place and what’s great is every bride has seems to have their own little twist on how they want to reveal themselves to their groom. Jenee, rather than inviting Caesar to turn around and take a look at her she decided to give him a big bear hug from behind and cry. Then she said okay I’m done crying time to turn around. So Caesar did and then she continued to cry more it was is really quite sweet . She expressed to me how important and how much she enjoyed the first look because it really gave her a very special moment and highly recommends its all brides.
Cesar and Jenee’s ceremony took place at the look out Gazebo in front of the Blue Lantern Inn in Dana Point over-looking the Dana Point Harbor. This is actually the second wedding that I photographed at a park in Dana point. I also photographed a wedding just in front of the Laguna Cliffs Marriott. If your looking to have a wedding ceremony outdoors in a beautiful and dramatic park check out the Dana Point website for permits and restrictions. Heritage Park in Dana Point is also beautiful and has very dramatic views.
After the ceremony it was off the Hoppa J’s a restaurant located in San Clemente just off the 5 freeway on Camino Real. Happa J’s is a Hawaiian themed restaurant and lounge. Cesar and Jenee’s guests wee greeted with Hawaiian barbecue pulled pork sliders and exotic drinks. The glow-in-the-dark variety of cocktail would be the Grave Digger. The Grave Digger is essentially all alcohol. About eight different alcohols and I was told it tastes like a yummy lollipop. So duly noted the grave digger is dangerous!
Fun wedding. Great vibe from all their family and friends.
Be sure to look at their wedding video.
